The Feature Engineer Expert is instrumental in driving effective and efficient delivery within our complex IT landscape. Working across tribes, this role translates epics into actionable features, coordinates deployment, and ensures seamless integration of solutions. Additionally, the Feature Engineer Expert supports senior management in making critical decisions on complex IT innovations and issues.

Facilitate Tribe Delivery:

• Translate epics into coherent features and create realizable roadmaps.
• Coordinate the deployment of integrated solutions to ensure successful delivery.

Support Value Delivery:

• Assist tribes and squads in delivering value while optimizing technical dependencies.
• Address challenges in applying knowledge effectively in a dynamic environment.

Collaborate with Architects:

• Work closely with Architects to provide input into IT strategy and execute plans effectively.

Create Roadmaps for Change:

• Develop roadmaps for major changes, incorporating both IT and business perspectives.
• Manage demands from various stakeholders, both locally and globally.

Solution Development:

• Develop solution approaches at the feature level and contribute to Epics involving multiple squads and IT assets.
• Prioritize tasks effectively amidst a broad range of activities.

Continuous Delivery Implementation:

• Implement continuous delivery practices, including test automation and frequent delivery to production.
• Manage the demands for fast project delivery against agreed timelines and technical debt considerations.

Change Management and Vendor Collaboration:

• Ensure features are delivered into production according to the change management process.
• Effectively manage relationships with external vendors and resources.

Champion's Agile Way of Working:

• Consistently demonstrate behaviors and mindsets that support Agile One Way of Working.
• Work with the business to focus on minimally viable products and make priority decisions based on customer value.

• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a substantial technology department.
• Experience in technology, including J2EE,.NET, Polymer,  etc.
• Should have worked on Microservices, Kafka/event-driven architecture
• Should have Design and Technical/Solution Architecture experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience working with Agile and DevOps delivery.
• Proven experience providing input into IT strategy and executing it effectively.
• Experience within the Banking and Finance industry.
• Leadership experience leading an engineering team.

• Experience with Distributed Agile Delivery (onshore/offshore).
